PATIENTS SHARE EXPERIENCES

Patient Opinion is a not-for-profit social enterprise set up two years ago to provide a website where patients and carers can share hospital experiences in their own words and in their own time.

It is a simple and easy to use site and it is totally safe and confidential. Patient Opinion is dedicated to improving the NHS by enabling Trusts to listen to patients and to respond to their concerns.

Trusts who subscribe to Patient Opinion are sent copies of comments about their services and can respond via the site so that patients know whether or not their thanks have been passed on or their suggestions for improvements have taken place. Patient Opinion has already collected numerous stories of Trusts making changes as a result of comments made on the site.
