The Local Branch

The Reading and West Berkshire Branch covers a wide area. Our Branch holds regular support meetings for people living with MND and their carers. These provide an opportunity to meet with other people living with the disease, and to share experiences and ideas. Fundraising and raising awareness are also very important aspects of Branch activities, and we organise several events throughout the year which are well supported. The Reading and West Berkshire Branch is completely run by volunteers. We are always interested in hearing from people who can help with events or who want to get involved with running the Branch Association .

Association Visitors

Our Branch has six Visitors and we are able to keep in regular touch with people who have MND and their carers, you may contact your visitor for information, advice or just a chat. The visitors meet regularly with the RCA so that the progress and special needs of the people visited are noted and the professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and the Medical Profession are contacted when necessary.
